I love engagement sessions for the reason that it gives me and the couple a chance to find out how we harmonize with each other. It’s so important that the couple feels comfy in front of my lense and in front of me because then they can be themselves and magic will happen. Last year in September I spent a wonderful afternoon with these two lovebirds at Lake Neusiedl. Verena and Christian are good friends of mine since a very long time. I was delighted when I heard about their engagement. One evening in late summer last year as they passed a bride during a walk, Christian fell on his knees and proposed marriage to the girl he loves – and she said yes ! Their wedding day will be held under the motto “marine style”. I was excited when I heard about that and it was clear to me to bring that nautical theme into life at their engagement session as well.

At Podersorf, a small place at Lake Neusiedl's north-east side is this cute lighthouse wich definitely serves as the best background to make this vision come true. I’m so happy I captured their lovestory on film for them and can’t wait for their wedding day in just a few months!  It’s going to be an awesome day !! Yaaay..
